About Scratch Tactile

What is Scratch Tactile?

Scratch Tactile is a kit based on the designs and creative philosophy of ScratchJr, the version of Scratch for children. Thanks to these kits, students can play and learn, or learn through play while inclusively developing skills essential to today's society, such as digital literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork (21st-century skills).

The idea... Why touch?

Technology has transformed our society. Every area of work—from science, medicine, and art to everyday activities like shopping, making transactions, and traveling—is embodied in technology. To be informed and empowered citizens, the next generation of students must understand the digital world they live in. This is why computational thinking has been called the "21st-century skill set," and why it's important for everyone to learn it, EVERYONE without exception.

For this reason we have created Scratch Tactile, a tangible educational resource that brings creative programming and computational thinking to ALL boys and girls, regardless of their different abilities and economic conditions.

In addition, manipulative resources are a key element in the development of creative and educational skills.
