Digital education is shaping both the present and the future of learning, and today thousands of educators are already showing that it is possible to teach coding in a creative, accessible, and meaningful way for all learners. Scratch Tactile Conference 2026 was created to give visibility to these practices and to connect the global education community working to promote more inclusive technology education.

On Thursday, 28 May 2026, organised by Sistema THEAD, the first edition of this international online event will take place, bringing together educators, schools, researchers, and organisations from different countries around a shared goal: to exchange real experiences that are transforming classrooms and expanding access to digital skills from an early age.

Rather than focusing on theoretical approaches, the event will highlight real classroom practice. Teachers and schools will share how they integrate coding in diverse contexts, how they combine tangible and digital resources to support learning, and how they design activities that enable the active participation of all learners.

The programme will include short presentations by educators and schools, international experiences from diverse contexts, conversations with invited experts, and question-and-answer sessions designed to encourage direct exchange among participants.

The event will be held online and live, from 17:00 to 20:00 (CET, Spain) / 11:00 am to 02:00 pm (EST), making participation easier for a global audience. The conference will be delivered in English and Spanish, with subtitles for all presentations and the option of automatic subtitles in multiple languages, thus ensuring accessibility.

Participation is open to early childhood, primary, and special education teachers, as well as schools, universities, research groups, educational and social organisations, public administrations, and anyone interested in STEAM education, accessibility, and creative coding.

Registration is free and includes access to all live sessions, participation in the dialogue spaces, and subsequent access to the event recordings and materials.

In addition, the conference creates an active space for community participation. Educators and organisations are invited to submit their own experiences and projects, helping to build a programme that is diverse, representative, and closely connected to educational reality.

Scratch Tactile Conference 2026 is therefore becoming an opportunity to learn, share, and be part of an international network that is already redefining how technology is taught and learned.

Registration is now open:
